Well my plan is to spend a minimum of 30 hours playing video games, possibly more if my friends bring multiplayer games to the place we're staying together, so that is mostly how I will utilize interactive media over break.
Over break, I will be splitting my time between South Carolina (for a research trip) and Tampa. During the research trip, we will need to utilize Google Forms to compile data into one cohesive document, so this is one way. Also, I have plans to FaceTime my parents and Skype my best friend from home. This isn't quite as interactive unless you consider the actual talking to one another. Apart from this, I may spend some time watching cable on my computer and catching up on shows that my TV app tells me I'm behind on since I've been too busy to watch them lately. I'll also probably post pictures on Facebook of my SC trip so that my family and friends can see what I've been up to. I can't think of any other things right now, but I'm sure there will be considering interactive media is all over the place now. -Rebecca Turner
I will use media like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and especially the last too. I like to do that because they are the most direct way to interact with my friends and people that follows me. What I do usually when I tweet or put anything on Instagram is use hashtags so when people do not follow you can go to that hashtag and then see it. I am also thinking of using Steller in case that I go to a nice place or even if we wake it to the NCAA Tournament. I would love to post as much as I can about our games and retweet about information so people get to see it and we can get more promotions and followers to watch our games.
Over break, I will use social media to share pictures with friends. Since a few of my friends are going out of town, we will be able to share how we are spending our break by sharing pictures on Instagram or posting to Facebook. -Savanna Blackerby
Traveling is full of interactive media. I am flying to Key West for spring break, and because of that I will have an interactive media experience in the airport. I always use the mobile boarding pass which makes it easy to get through the airport. During my time at the airport, I will receive texts to my phone, and when I land the airline will send out surveys asking about my flight experience. All of these things are different ways that the airline interacts with their customers through media. Airports almost always have iPad menus at their restaurants. This allows customers to have several different option for what they want to eat or drink. The iPad menus also act as a server and ask if you want to start a tab and give you your check. The airport is a very simple place to find interactive media.
During the break, I'll be using instagram, twitter and snapchat. I don't have any definite plans besides working but I am sure I'll do some interesting things like the beach and maybe exploring the everglades. I'll use Instagram to post a few pictures (if they are worthy enough) to share with my followers. I'll be using snapchat everyday to stay updated with my friends back home to see what they are doing during break. I'll also be using twitter to voice my opinions about different things happening in my life or during different sporting events.
I will utilize interactive media to entertain during spring break. I will find some TV shows, which were shown by my peer in class because I want to see how interactive and creative media is. Also, I want to use my Instagram to update with my favorites, celebrities, beautiful views and lifestyle. I also hope that my experience with interactive media in this spring break can help me with project, such as creative content and class's requirement.
Over spring break I will be snap chatting with friends of the places I will be going. I will also use this to communicate with my friends who are leaving the country to interact with them. I don't use Twitter that much. so I doubt I will use it over spring break. Depending on the pictures I take, I might upload them onto Instagram and use the #Springbreak2016. I will be working on my online portfolio over break, and hopefully adding a blog spot, so I can interact with the people who view my page. Jaclyn Ott
