Think of the last movie or TV episode you watched and briefly describe its plot; in other words, the sequence of main events.

  1. The last T.V show I watched was Grey's Anatomy. It was the start of a new series. The whole episode was based around Meredith. She was working on a patient and then all of a sudden the patient beat her very badly. It caused her to be critically injured. The other doctors found Meredith and started working on her right away. She was deaf for a couple days before she could here again. Her jaw was stitched up, so she could not talk. He foot was broken and she had to stay in the hospital for weeks. Her children came to visit, but got scared when they saw her, so they left. Finally she was able to go home, and at the end she was sitting on the couch with her children, reading them a book.

  2. The last movie I watched was How To Be Single. The movie follows one single women, Alice, and shows her and the people in her life act when they are single. In the first scene of the movie the audience sees Alice and her college sweetheart breaking up. They are breaking up because Alice wants to experience when it is like to be single. Throughout the movie she is trying to figure out who she is, and on the way is disappointed to realize she feels lost without a man in her life. Throughout this process her sister and best friend help her to find her true identity. Ultimately the movie tells a message about how falling in love is great and important, but unless you find that moment where you are content and have a positive sense of self, you may not truly know who you are.

  3. One of my favorite television shows that I have watched through twice is called One Tree Hill. It is a show that was filmed in the early 2000s. The show follows kids in high school with a few of the main characters having crazy lives, and most things the probably would never happen. But two of the main characters Lucas and Nathan have the same father but different moms and the dad stayed with Nathans mom. The boys are only about 3 months apart. They never grew up in the same crowd but both play basketball. When Lucas joins the high school varsity team the boys finally have to deal with each other. Eventually they build a relationship, with many downfalls and uplifting times. When they become closer so does everyone else in their lives. Girlfriends, best friends, and old friends it is all a crazy place to be. Many love relationships and friendships are either ruined are fall into place. Dan Scott the father is a deceiving man and always tries to get his way in everything so he is also a main person when it comes to things going wrong. Basically you follow them through high school, they graduate and then they flash forward to their lives after college. They all end up back in the town of Tree Hill and more love stories, friendships, fights and good times happen.

  4. The last show I watched was Gravity Falls a cartoon made by Alex Hirsch about the adventures of a pair of twins in the time lapse of one summer. Dipper and Mabel Pines visit their Grunkle (Grumpy uncle) Stan in the middle of nowhere called Gravity Falls, all Mabel wants is to find a summer love and all Dipper wants is to find a summer full of adventures and supernatural things, Mabel gets her short romances that don't last more than a day but Dipper found a journal telling him about all the supernatural happenings of Gravity Falls and so he has decided to find the journal's writer and to do that he will look through every supernatural creature and object in Gravity Falls to do so, weather it is zombies, gnomes, unicorns or a all powerful dream demon he will stop at nothing.
First Dipper and Mabel get to Gravity Falls and find the journal, after many supernatural encounters they are forced to fight Gideon, a child star of Gravity Falls and owner of the second journal, Gideon who wants to take over all of the town is put in jail after destroying half of it in a rampage trying to take the journal from Dipper, he then goes back to looking for the writer of the journal just to find out that his Gunkle Stan might know something.
They find out that the writer was their Grunkle's brother Stanford who had been trapped in another dimension to stop Bill Cipher, the almighty dream demon and lord of chaos, from starting the armageddon.
This failed because Bill got out and destroyed most of Gravity Falls but was stopped by the sacrifice of Grunkle Stan who tricked him into getting in his mind and then erased all of it with the mind erase device. Stan is then helped to recover his memories through a journal Mabel had kept that told all their adventures, soon afterwards Mabel and Dipper had to leave Gravity Falls and return to their normal life in California as the summer ended.

The movie talks about how a doctor coming from Africa that worked doing autopsies for dead bodies. He was really good at it and one day one of the people that he had to examine was a football player that died at a very early age. So, he started to dig in more on why famous football players started to lose their minds and die. The doctor found that the problem was the fact that these football players were getting impacts on their helmets all the time so their brains were getting affected. So, that is why he is going against the NFL trying to make them understand that is a dangerous sport.

  9. The last TV episode I watched was Grounded for Life- the premise of the episode was that Sean, Lily's father found out her mom knew about her relationship with her boyfriend progressing and didn't tell him. Sean was offended that neither his daughter or his wife would trust him with this information, assuming that he would blow it out of proportion or turn into a defensive dad. Lily's mom tells him its not that she doesn't trust him, just that her and her daughter have more of a friendship than a mother/daughter relationship. Sean then attempts to develop a friendship with his daughter, and tries to get her to tell him a secret that her mother doesn't know. Lily tells him that she has a back tattoo of her boyfriends name. Sean goes to his wife flaunting the fact that he knows something about their daughter that she doesn't. She keeps telling him that he doesn't really know a secret, he is just saying that to make her mad. Frustrated, Sean reveals the secret his daughter disclosed to him to prove he did in fact know something that she didn't. The end of the episode is Lily's mom running upstairs yelling at her about her tattoo. This, is why dads don't know secrets.

  10. The most recent television episode that I've watched was the midseason premiere of Grey's Anatomy. The episode begins with Meredith talking through a voiceover about silence and its power, for both good and bad while live in person Meredith is teaching in a skills lab. The episode had to do with Meredith getting attacked by a patient who was in a postictal state, meaning he had just had an epileptic seizure. He was in an altered state of consciousness and attacked her, which is something he wouldn't have done otherwise. Then, we followed Meredith through her months of recovery, from the first moments of uncertainty of her survival, through her surgeries, through her trying to connect with her children despite having her jaw wired shut, and finally through being able to go home. It was fairly procedural, but you could also very easily feel Meredith's pain and fear throughout the whole episode. There was also the added element of the girl who was there when Derek died being there for the uncertainty of Meredith's survival. There was that added fear of will she let Meredith die too? Or did she really learn something from Derek's death and is a better doctor now? Additionally, there's the subplots throughout via Meredith's view of them. Much of the episode is silent and viewed from her hospital room or a surgical suite. She sees Amelia lose it and her sobriety. She sees that Jackson has served April with divorce papers. And she sees how crazy Jo is for Alex. Throughout, you see evidence of Meredith's injuries healing. Then, once Meredith goes home, it goes back to the skills lab and Meredith's voiceover concludes her talk about the power of silence.
